RACE updates the setting files and expands ProTune support for the Bosch EDC16U1 ECU, used on numerous VAG Group diesel engines.

The update covers 1.9L, 2.0L, 2.5L, 4.0L and 5.0L TDI applications installed in Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Škoda vehicles.

Older applications, but still widely used

The Bosch EDC16U1 belongs to a generation of ECUs widely used in vehicles produced from the early 2000s onwards. These applications are several years old, but they continue to represent an important part of the work carried out by many workshops and tuners.

For this reason, RACE continues to develop established platforms as well, providing updated and more comprehensive setting files to support recalibration with increasingly detailed references.
